“Oursoul” is the kind of song that makes you wish you understood every single word — but honestly, you feel it, even if you don’t speak a bit of Berber. I don’t know what magic Hindi Zahra is using, but she takes your soul for a walk and doesn’t give it back (in a good way).
There are so many people in the comments who say exactly that:
“All Moroccans are proud of you, you have taken our souls.”
And you can tell it’s true — the pride, the love, the chills everyone gets from this music. Someone said they listened to the first 20 seconds of the song 50 times and never got tired. Same, honestly. Sometimes I just hit play and get lost, again and again.
What’s wild is how universal this song is. People from India, France, Morocco, Brazil… all saying how much they love it, even if they don’t understand the lyrics. That’s real music — when the feeling is stronger than the words. And apparently, a bunch of the song is actually improvised! That makes it feel even more alive, more in the moment.
One of my favorite comments:
“I got goosebumps! I don’t know what she’s saying, but I got goosebumps!”
If you missed her concert, you’re not alone — someone still regrets not making it to Mawazine. And I get it! Hindi on stage, with that voice and the energy of “Oursoul,” must be something you don’t forget.
Some songs just vibe on their own level. “Oursoul” is one of them. Proud, sweet, totally hypnotic.
